“next generation network”

[ˈenʤɪn]

ng#n is pronounced [ˈenʤɪn] and stands for “engine,” because ng#n is not merely a space for gaining experience but an independent functional unit and one of the driving forces behind our development.
Individuality
True talent expects real opportunities.
Strong personalities need room to flourish.
We know this—and we deliver.
We are a united team, yet free from conformity.

You can see what we stand for—in the firm’s ethos, the diversity of our lifestyles, and, not least, the high proportion of women in the partnership. There are no “glass ceilings” here; instead, we offer a part-time partnership model and cultivate an explicitly family-friendly corporate culture.
For us, it is a matter of appreciation and respect.
Job Openings
Lawyers
We are pursuing a path of organic, continuous growth at both locations. Furthermore, we continue to strengthen our team at the partner level and do not rule out adding further locations. We therefore welcome applications from lawyers (m/f/d) at any time, whether with or without prior professional experience.
We are looking for lawyer types, not typical lawyers. You need character, independence, sovereignty, heart and mind. We require a strong entrepreneurial motivation and significantly above-average qualifications (state examinations ideally at least VB, doctorate and/or LL.M. would be an advantage).
Legal Assistant or Certified Legal Specialist
To strengthen our administrative team in Frankfurt, we are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant or Certified Legal Specialist (Rechtsfachwirt) (m/f/d) to join us immediately on a full-time or part-time basis. We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and fits well into our friendly team. The role encompasses standard law firm duties, including client communication (via phone and email), managing incoming and outgoing mail and deadlines, and preparing invoices based on hourly rates and—occasionally—statutory fees (RVG). Staff members are assigned to specific lawyers (typically one or two, depending on working hours) and primarily handle tasks arising from that lawyer’s workload. More complex tasks are handled collaboratively across the team; therefore, specialized knowledge of RVG regulations, litigation, or labor law is highly welcome but not strictly required. Experience with DATEV Anwalt software is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
We offer a modern workplace, a flat organizational structure, and a friendly atmosphere, combined with attractive compensation. Our Frankfurt office (Gärtner Weg 4-8, 60322 Frankfurt am Main) is located in attractive premises in the southern Westend district of Frankfurt’s city center and is easily accessible by public transport. Remote work options are also available upon agreement. We are committed to the professional development and support of our staff, including through regular training. Fostering a pleasant, team-oriented working relationship between lawyers and staff is a top priority for us.
Does this appeal to you? If so, we look forward to receiving your application. Please send it to the email address job@maat-rechtsanwaelte.de. Application documents are stored separately and are accessible only to the relevant partners and staff members.
Training
Commitment to vocational training is one of our strengths.
If you see yourself as a future specialist (m/f/d) in labor law and would like to complete your legal traineeship or a student internship with us, we look forward to receiving your application. You get to know us, work with experts on assignments and benefit from our experience from numerous teaching assignments.
We also consider our in-house training program for legal assistants (m/f/d) to be a major advantage. We offer ideal conditions for successfully preparing for this demanding and multifaceted profession. With us, you will find an interesting field of work, a highly collegial working atmosphere, and long-term career prospects.
Application
Getting in touch with us is straightforward.
Simply send an email with the key information to the responsible partners (Dr. Brigitte Huber LL.M. and Christian Betz-Rehm, both based in Munich). We will then get back to you.
It is important to us to get to know you personally—and for you to get to know us, including our “next generation.” It has to be the right fit for both sides. That is why we take the time for several conversations and let you form your own impression of what it feels like here.
