Attorney Julius Frey has been an associate at maat since June 2026. He studied law at the University of Augsburg, specializing in banking, corporate, and capital markets law.

While pursuing his studies, Mr. Frey worked as a student trainee at a mid-sized law firm, where he gained his first practical experience in procedural law. He completed his legal traineeship with the Higher Regional Court of Munich, including placements in labor law and at a leading German technology company. Subsequently, he worked as a legal associate at a leading international commercial law firm, focusing on corporate and general company law as well as IT, data, and digitalization law.

At maat, attorney Frey leverages his expertise in business law and his knowledge of digital business models to advise companies on employment law matters related to organizational structure, change, and workplace conflicts.
